Why the towers collapsed by knightsofni2006-11-19 12:55:59

I have been peripherally involved in the demolition of a building before, and the amount of technical work to locate the areas of weakness was amazing. Blueprints have to be analyzed, and the main beams weakened prior to the detonation.

Was this just a fluke or did the people have some advanced engineering knowledge of the buildings? They tried to blow it up from the bottom, and it didn't work. Obviously, they knew where to hit it and what to hit it with. Are blueprints easily obtained? I have no answers, but lots of questions.
