Illiad's just staying current about what makes things funny to the unique UFie sense of humor, especially our love of irony. The humor of the missile silo was the irony of the irrelevance of weapons of mass destruction. But if Illiad had, say, happened to run the strip today about Sid getting a missile delivered up his butt, now that a lot of people are calling for bin Laden to get exactly that, it wouldn't be either as ironic or as irrelevant, so it wouldn't be as funny.
