There's a reason people back down from certain humor because of the "sensitive nature" of the subject. It's called compassion, empathy, sympathy, and being human.

Would you still feel this way if someone you knew was killed? Is this a "well, it's a shame, but it doesn't directly touch my life" kind of thing?

Who will be able to look at the NYC skyline without noticing two large, missing buildings, and not think about what happened?

A missle silo might not be directly related to the events of Tuesday, but it's close enough for those people who's lives this tragedy touched directly.

I, for one, think Illiad's making the right choice (if indeed, he's pulling the silo storyline because of Tuesday).
