The heroic actions of the people on the fourth plane spared more people from being killed. The actions of the people in the WTC helping each other, acting as AMERICANS helping AMERICANS kept the death toll much lower than it could have been. There was no panic, there was no chaos. People as high up as the 97th floor of the first building hit made it out alive because there was no trampling pushing or shoving. Those scum showed us the worst that humanity had to offer, we showed the world the BEST that humanity had to offer. I am personally grateful to all the people who conducted themselves in such a heroic fashion because I have friends who are alive today because of it.
