Our nation has been attacked, thousands are dead, many people posting here have lost loved ones.
Do you have any idea how insulting it is to be lectured about a response that hasn't happened yet while we are still mourning our dead?
Note, I am not screaming at you or threatening you or being abusive.
Just do me this one favor.
Put yourself in our shoes for one minute.
Ask yourself how you would feel reading the post you just wrote if you just lost a loved one, or if you are still waiting to hear about one.
What people will see in what you wrote, though did not intend to portray is this.
"Your grief doesn't matter, you are horrible people who will lash out wildly and hurt other innocent people who matter more than the people you just lost."
Yes, I know you didn't say that, but that's how it will feel, that's how it DOES feel. |
