Its a good point. Having witnessed countless acts of terror, and not being able to do anything but watch friends and family die, the need to strike out is strong. But terrorists are successful because they are so hard to find. The people behind are never in the light, and the truth is hard to find. Israel has taken to assasination, but with mixed results. Yes, those high in power are dying, but for every death, a new generation of hate is born. The US would do well to look at the generations of conflict in the middle east before striking.
But when a target is found, I will be first in line for a chance at hurting those who hurt us. |
