www.taleban.com got hacked. And deserved to by bastaard2001-09-13 01:15:05
sorry to be so negative... by Samsara 2001-09-13 05:11:49
but personally i can't help thinking it was 'allowed' to be hacked as a pacification measure - to try and show that they really didn't have anything to do with Tuesday's events and are serious about 'not harbouring' bin Laden....and I don't believe any of it is is in any way 'real' - it's a PR exercise IMO.....

(Taliban's head guy's daughter is married to Bin Laden's son - plus it's been known for a while that some of bin Laden's money goes to the Taliban in return for his refuge although 'officially' it's to support the continuation of Islamic law in the country....... The Taliban KNOW where he is and right now they're in a VERY awkward position in that I doubt they knew what was planned in advance but they prolly did know SOMETHING was due to happen...)

Still I don't think any of this gives enough justification for an all out blanket bombing of Afghanistan no matter HOW far implicated the Taliban are - there are innocent people living there too, to disregard their right to life would make us no better than the terrorists - if there are attacks on Afghanistan i pray that our leaders stick to 'military' and 'Bin Laden' targets....

Samsara - just my opinion
