but still alive. Illiad, I appreciate the strip, true UFies, I appreciate the support. Those of you who would use this for your petty purposes, I have nothing for. The heart of my country, and even of all decent people, has been ripped out. I started drinking when the mayor of NYC asked the govt. for 6000 body bags, and a total of 6 people have been pulled out after almost two days.
My best friend infuriated me by saying that he blamed the people on the planes for not stopping this. As far as they knew, the only new wrinkle was that these hijackers had brought their own pilots. We, up to now, only thought that hijackers would kill only if denied their demands, and usually not even then. These people had no way of knowing that resistance would do anything but kill innocents. This event is screwing up the whole country, and this man who I call friend wants to blame the passengers!
Know this, in the future we must consider this possibility if a hijacking occurs, and perhaps risk an attack on the hijackers. I know I will, and God forgive me for any innocents which may die as a result.
