I mean look at what your saying, if you kill all the suspects then you're no better than them. I'm not defending the terrorists, but think before you act.
I think the best response is one report I heard of a statement from John Howard[1], and I'm paraphrasing:
"The response should be calm and leathal."
Very simply put, find out who is responsible first, don't guess, find out beyond a shadow of a doubt, then kill them, cleanly, quickly. If they are being harboured, then go and get them. If they're defended by some one, kill the defenders. But use force ONLY against the guilty.
This was not just an attack on America, this was an attack on all Free people everywhere. The people who commited these attacks did so because they cannot understand people who are different. That's it plain and simple, you're differnt, therefore you're wrong, therefore you must die. It was extreamists, reasonable people do not behave like that. Most American's I have met are reasonable people, most muslims I've met are realonable people, most people on this planet are reasonable.
There should be vengence, there should be retribution, but it must be focused on the guilty, and it must not hurt any more inocennt people. Otherwise you're just the same as them.
[1] For those who don't know, he is the Prime Minister of Australia, and he was in Washington at the time of the attacks for meetings with the American Government. |
