Something that's been bothering me... by slayer2001-09-11 23:10:55

The list is short. by nin_man 2001-09-11 23:34:14
Just due to the money, training and intelligence required for such an attack. Most terrorist groups could put up one or maybe two of those, but very few can provide all three. The bin Laden posse is, in fact, one of only two or three groups that could do something like this...and likely the only one who'd bother planning something this intricate. Passengers on the planes have also been linked to him. His warning from a few weeks ago comes immediately to mind. His previous attack on the WTC can't be ignored. But it is important to not point fingers too hastily - he's not the only one capable of this, only the most likely. That doesn't necessarily mean he's guilty. However, the Taliban's assurance that it wasn't him doesn't mean he's innocent, either. That they were claiming his innocence before ANYone spoke his name in connection with this tragedy does raise suspicion

And I am both an informed political scientist AND a strategic studies expert, so my word is gospel on the matter. ;)
