but jumpstarting an economy with war is insane. Sounds like the Psychlos out of Battlefield Earth. So what will we have from an economy that is jumpstarted by war? Mass production of WMD? Weapons for the asking? Please. The planet is pretty beleaguered by war right now. The last thing we want is the only super-power on the planet getting into a war-geared economy.

Hell what do we need next? World War III? I'll tell you this. If that happens, it's back to the caves and trees. If we are lucky to stay out of the oceans.
