Palestenian's are celebrating! by glitch2001-09-11 10:29:51
...let yourself off... by ACSRonin 2001-09-11 16:41:17
...did you cheer while we bombed Lybia or Baghdad??? However you see what happened in those two examples is the same thing they are seeing in their own views of the NYC and DC bombings...it's the same closed-minded and Ethno-Centric thinking that has made America so hated throughout the world...it's the "Us vs Them" attitude that will start the next World War (it's already started two)...before condemning their fervor...try looking at it from their cultural perspective...they are only people...they bleed...laugh...cry...and die like everyone else in the world...like any American...condemn whomever actually "Pulled the Trigger" and the ones that helped...not the ones who lived next door or down the street...we're supposed (according to our own prejudices and propaganda) to be the "Higher Thinkers" of Democracy...but not if we can't see the point of view of others...that makes us no better than the people in the pilot's seat each of the 4 planes...

...and in the imortal words of Albert Einstein "...I'm not sure what weapons they'll fight the third world war with...but I'm sure the fourth will be fought with sticks and stones..."
