not really...although true the outer walls are somewhat load bearing...if you've ever seen a tall building being put up...there's plenty of steel and concrete up there to keep things in order...what probably would have caused the collapse internally wasn't the impact as much the heat build-up after the fires went out of control...super-heating the steel girders and causing flex (then failure) with no external support from the walls on the floors that were blown out by the impact...then down it comes...after the dust settles...there will be substantial amounts of both towers remaining...it didn't pancake...although I DO see them imploding all the remaining pieces of towers 1, 2 and 7...if not most of the other buildings in the WTC because of foundation and structural damage from fires and debris...
