Do you believe that Afghanistan, Taliban, and bin Laden are not responsible? I find it highly likely, given bin Laden's track record, bin Laden's threat mere weeks ago, bin Laden's wealth and position at the top of a powerful terrorist organisation, given Afghanistan's position of protecting bin Laden, given the Taliban sentiment of extremist, radical, militant anti-Amerikanism, and militant Islam fundamentalist Jihad. Go look up the Jihad webring. Tell me what you see. Go look up bin Laden. Tell me what you see.
Do you believe that Afghanistan, Taliban, and bin Laden are not responsible? I find it extremely unlikely that they are innocent in this horrific act of terrorism and mass murder. I am not a very emotional person when it comes to things of this nature. I watch plane crashes on the 6:00 news and say wow that made a big fireball. I'm pretty well desensitized. I watched the TV all morning and I'm finding myself at my desk crying for all of the people involved. Every cell in my body is screaming for vengeance. I don't blame Islam as a whole, I will never condemn a man because of his religion, his heritage, his culture, his ancestry. I WILL condemn a man for his unforgivable act of terrorism.
There are very few powers in the world that could and would have done this, and ~if~ by some chance bin Laden is not behind it, well he set himself up, now didn't he? Every finger in the world is pointing at him, largely due to his public threats and his track record. Even if he did not do this act of terrorism, he has done a great many others and should be brought down. Did you know he has a 3 million pound price on his head? Did you know the FBI still wants him for his attack on the destroyer USS Cole? |
