The deaths could hit 20,000. Civilian deaths. The US hasn't taken the gloves all the way off since WW2. I suspect that Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, and the Palestinian Authority are all pretty scared right now. And if they're not, they should be. The US does have the capability to hit all of them fairly simultaneously. It would take most of our Air Force and Navy, but it could be done.
And don't forget, 55 years after WW2, there's still a group at Department of Justice dedicated to hunting down nazi war criminals. |
