        Well, I'm asking the U.S. people. by artist12001-09-11 11:06:38
Answer (from me personally) by JPaganel 2001-09-11 11:25:34
I am in no position to speak on behalf of US citizens. I have no citizenship, but am a permanent resident alien in US. I am Russian by birth and culture.

I do not wish a war. If there should be one, I am not likely to be drafted as a non-citzen. However, I will do what my people have done any time the war has come home - hide my family and fight for my home. This is not out of loyalty to any government. I had ups and downs with all of them, they are not as different as they would like you to believe.

In my opinion, most Americans are at a loss right now. There has not been a war on American soil in two hundred years. All the wars US has participated in were spectator events for the general population(non-military).

Look for a massive anti-arab backlash in the near future. I predict it will get harder to find a good shish-kabob for the same reason that there are no decent bagels in Germany. Internment camps, anyone?

To ward off future flames:
I HAVE TO make light of things like that. Were it not for an occasional laugh, I would've hung myself a long time ago.
