Radio here is reporting that the Pentagon was targeted by a forced plane crash, and that another jetliner "went down" about 80 miles south of the Pittsburg PA airport, although any connection to the terrorist events is not confirmed. Camp David has also been hit. Radio is now reporting that the Cleveland airport has a passenger plane on the runway with a bomb aboard; it has been evacuated. Apparently other terrorists have surfaced in other cities as well.

As far as San Francisco Bay area is concerned, nothing has happened, but all government buildings have been evacuated, including City Hall, the Transamerica Pyramid has been evac'd, all schools are closed, and extra security has been put in place around the Golden Gate and Bay bridges (if anyone was planning on taking a scenic walk across the Gate, forget it.) As elsewhere all airports are shut down, including the traffic reporter aircraft, and there are discussions by the municipal board to possibly shut down the BART system. Very few people in to work this morning, as we're trhee hours behind the East Coast so most of us heard about this tragic mess while we were prepping for work.
