which incidentally were never as fun as learning this way!

Still it's one of those things I can SEE in other ppls german but can't write from scratch without arguing with myself and finally choosing the completely wrong case/gender/number forms.....you see a lot of it I do (or try to do) by what 'sounds' right - but then 'eine / einer' and 'den / dem' type pairs can't be done that way!

Deswegen probiere ich nur so kleinen Satzen zu schreiben. Je kurzer, desto leichter! Vielleicht einmal sollte ich den Strip zu ubersetzen probieren - dann sehen wir alle wie schlecht meine Deutsch wirklich ist! (Ich brauche ein(e/er/en) Strip die gar kein Wort drin hat!)
