First of all: Your second sentence has a typing error ;)

Then: There are some nice phrases in german for the four cases of conjunctions.
"Rettet dem Dativ!"
"Genitiv ins Wasser!" - "Wieso? Ist es Dativ?"

Der Herr RRipley wird auch weiterhin so nett sein, Ihnen grammatikalisch unter die Arme zu greifen. Ich möchte nur vermeiden, daß Ihnen das zuviel wird, Frau Samsara?

I guess we should collect mnemonics for the german writers with foreign native languages. For english I have one: Was ist die Vergangenheit von is? :-)
