I have a question. by sir lox elroy2001-07-31 16:05:54

The only reason I though about this, by sir lox elroy 2001-07-31 17:11:33
is because it seems that there are quite a few admins out there, I am not saying just windows, or any one OS, but there are a lot that seem to either be security unconcious, or really absent minded. There just seems to be not enough people who are security concious, and these things seem to just boost the Viruses lethality. I could do like the previous poster, but getting people to download patches seems to be a loosing cause (Such as the fact that microsoft has had the patch for the exploit that the Red Worm uses available since before the Red Worm came to being, and the Linux Worm which attacked exploits for easily patchable Red Hat systems, which had not been patched in who nows how long.) I just would like a more secure interent against viruses and would like Admins who have been "lax" in the past to start taking an active part, or we will have to look at something else for anti-virus, such as counter-viruses. I don't know it is just my thoughts on the subject.
