When I was a kid I went through the required 12-14 years of wearing briefs. As soon I could I switched to boxers and have been a boxer-wearer ever since. There's just something about flannel (or occasionally silk) that's just too comfortable to describe. You know, I suppose it was actually a wise thing to have worn briefs and not boxers as a youth, being an athletic kid (and having heard that... ummm, certain parts of the male anatomy can be injured that way.)
