Amazingly enough, I have a set of bookshelves right beside my desk at home (which is where I am at this second) and a stack of CD's. (Including an encyclopedia disk) The nearest book is probably volume 3 of the 1973 standard postage stamp catalogue, next to some woodworking books, a trivia encyclopedia, and the Hobbit.
Just beyond those are the 'desk' encyclopedia, dictionary, and Strunk & White's Elements of Style. I s'pose those are as close to reference materials, per se, that you will find close to me. I have lots more behind me, but that's what's currently physically close to me.
No, I don't know why I have a stamp catalogue from 1973..I really need to clean this place up.
