(I'm not a coder - just did some software dev modules at Uni so only used abt three langs all abt 3 yrs ago) But one of the few things I am sure of is that the inventor of Prolog was a total sadist. Features I hate in it....erm the whole thing! Especially the lack of obvious links/correlations between clauses UNLESS you can be bothered to spend at least as much time (and generally more) writing incredibly detailed comments which tend to be a full 3/4 of the end result.
