Linux & Win2000 Help! by FearNotIAm2001-07-19 06:22:15

See, what I had was a 10 gig partition for Win2k first, and then when I tried to install Linux, it said that the root partition couldn't fit on the large disk (i have another one in there) because there wasn't enough room. I think that's because it doesn't allow anything to write over the master boot record, because, as mpicklesimer said, "Win2k likes to think it's the boss." So I'm going to take his advice, and if that doesn't work, I'll try other things.

Thank you for your help though! This is what makes this UF community so great!
