          It's a damn shame by ChicoScience 2001-07-11 11:57:57
when a cable company does something like.. omit the Comedy Channel from their lineup. I'm still embroiled in a battle with Comcast over getting speedvision in my lineup. Instead we've got the f---ing golf channel. That's less exciting than watching flies mate. There is nothing redeeming about golf or having a whole gaddamn channel dedicated to it.

Speedvision on the other hand. Now there's a geek channel... Such amazing machines.. From the American Le Mans circuit to Formula 1 or the Speedvision Touring Car Championships. Machines, tinkered and driven to their finest. And no, I don't watch nascar. Or any driving in a circle. I want tight turns, hairpins, elevation changes, driving in the rain, everything. I want it to be a challenge. I wanna see people doing 200mph cartwheels in a rapidly disintegrating amalgam of fiberglass and alloys. That's television.

Ciao, C.Sc.
