anyone.... by sbaclimber2001-07-11 01:16:10

seems related to cache by sbaclimber 2001-07-11 07:52:13
1. i upload a .jsp and a .class file to my app server (the .jsp calls the .class)
2. i run the .jsp from the browser
3. i get some kind of (good) response (the .class gets info from a db2 database)
4. i change the .java in an editor recompile and re-upload the .class
5. i recompile and upload the .jsp
6. i re-run the .jsp in the browser and get the same result as the last time (this time it is bad, because i changed the .class file, and expect to get a different result)

note: if i wait long enough before re-uplaoding my files (i do my compiling in webshpere studio), it sometimes works. i found some info on a servletcache.xml file that an administrator should create in order to turn on caching for servlets, but i dont have this file, therfore i am very confused.
