What I'd like is the ability to have 'expand top-level' selected when I'm at the comments index (the page with the cartoon at the top), and then when I've clicked a comment and view the thread (perhaps in another window) I'd like an 'expand all' radiobutton just for the thread view. That would be nice, so I could see top-level comments in the index and automatically view the entire thread in the thread view (read.cgi)
