i must honestly say, that if you are able to only UNDERSTAND the swiss-german A LITTLE BIT you are a here. no joke! a lot of germans (exept for them close to the swiss border) have problems understending swiss-german!
it is a quite freaky language. you could compate it with oxford-english vs. "hardcore-highland"-scotish-english....
i mean a lot af americans can understand me, when i talk with my scotisch accent....
