I would not recommend slaughtering 'everyone who could report', but certainly the less publicity given to the anti-terrorist action the better. I recall in the early 1980's when numerous foreign nationals were taken hostage in Lebanon by pro-Iranian, pro-Palestinian, and pro-Syrian groups, the Russians simply found out who had their people, captured a few relatives, and started sending small body parts back to the family. Ears and fingers were sent first, but before larger pieces were hacked off the Russian nationals were released. This was done quietly and was very effective.
As for hijackings and the like, the criterion of success has to be the death of all the terrorists. Then take their corpses and feed them to pigs. Collect the pigs' excrement and send it off in little coffin shaped boxes to the terrorists' families along with a videotape of the piggies noshing on the remains of their beloved. That way rumour would eventually spread that far from going straight to heaven the 'martyrs' would just become pig shit. |
