The solution to dealing with terrorists is to deny them what they want most: attention. If someone bombs a building, you officially ascribe it to a gas main explosion. If a plane is highjacked, shoot it down and make a big show of the military 'covering up the accident'. If someone is taken hostage, produce a body to prove that they are dead - making sure that it was of natural causes. And when you actually confront the terrorists, take no prisoners. Kill everyone who could report what really happened, even if it means having to stage an accident involving high-yield weapons of mass destruction. Even the most troublesome problems can be fixed by reducing them to their component atoms. Do You Believe That?
