Seriously, vegetarianism I feel should be a personal choice. It's not one I have made; however, I can understand why people would want to, what with the evil ways the meat industry now treats animals on "factory farms." But I see that not as a reason to stop eating meat altogether, but as a reason to stop supporting mainstream commercial meat farming. 'Course, it's more expensive to buy "free-range" stuff, and it takes skill to hunt yourself up some meat with a firearm, but I'll say one thing. I'm not eating at McDonald's. I used to work there. I knew the food was greasy, but if you saw the grease-meat ratio on one of the regular hamburgers...*shudder*... |
