Nothing at all to do with the comic. by nin_man 2001-05-19 11:24:11
But I need a bit of advice here. I've got this employment packet thingy to fill out, and it's in Adobe PDF format. Normally, I'd print it out and fill it in by hand. However, my penmanship ranks somewhere between illegible and Picasso-esque. So I need to type all of this stuff in somehow, right? So far, I've just pulled it up in Illustrator (it's not an editable PDF with nifty text fields) and I've been creating my own text areas where needed and filling them in. And it's a pain in the ass, but it's working okay. Except this thing's thirteen pages long. What I'm wondering is if there's a way to somehow bring it into Word or something where I can type more properly. I've already considered OCR, but it's not exactly the best quality file. Is there some keen program out there that might be able to convert this for me, or should I just pull up a comfy chair (Nnnnnnnnnobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!) and sit here for thirteen pages? I'm telling you, this job has ME written all over it. The job ID number is my freakin' birthday. I mean, as omens go, this one's pretty blatant. ;)
Thanks in advance to anyone who comes up with something useful. Or something un-useful that will amuse me, as this thing's kinda dull.
