Just to let you know, Microsoft is popular only because all IBM compatiable computers are shipped to people with Windows, so people use it. That is the only reason why it is big. If you know anything of computer history Bill Gates made a deal with IBM that every computer they make has to have his OS, starting with Dos. And BTW it is at the low end of consumer market standards. No hard feelings, just stating fact :)
