the Freudian definition of caves in a dream, this is very very interesting. :) >I had this dream that I was in this "cave" with two other people, it's light and cheery and just beyond us there's light coming from a small opening to the outside. We are apparently digging into this rock to get some kind of fossils out of it, and for some reason I have to go into the afore mentioned opening (which gets much smaller than I can comfortably fit) and get some samples there too. Suddenly I get claustrophobic (which is really weird 'cause I don't have any fear of enclosed spaces in real life), and have to back out really quick. Then, somehow, I am out of the cave, on a ledge (with railing) overlooking the ground that the cave is in. I see this as being a place I played at when I was a kid (my dreams often have untrue backgrounds to them, I never saw the place in my life). I notice that the ground is being filled in with greyish-beize colored slop, which, somehow, I know is highly acidic. Whatever work we were trying to do in the cave has been destroyed forever. End of dream. This is weird like all the other dreams I have, except, I remembered this one.
