Thank you! If Linux wants (REALLY wants) to compete with MS they are going to have to get over being stuckup and stuck in their old ways. What we need is to have the transistional version of say KDE that has some neat shell scripts, undelete routines, and general user friendliness that the average user needs. I can think of a BUNCH of things that keep users away from Linux, and one of them is the way the community sometimes treats the average user. It isn't fair to them to act like because they don't understand how to use Linux or what kind of power it has doesn't mean we can treat them poorly. We don't need to be elite "LINUX GODS FROM HELL." (TM) We need to bring the user into the fold and help them find why Linux is so much better then MS products. Just a thought
