Administering Networks. by Steve_Ballmore2001-02-22 02:56:57
  translation: by special_ed 2001-02-22 08:42:06
i am way cooler than you. it is obvious that certification (not the good kind) is something that is very soon in my future. this fundamental truth can be understood by anyone knowing only the core concepts of human psychology. although i cannot spell independent, i will condescend like no one you have ever met. of course, my ability to process big words like "disintermediate" will take your mind off my typos and confuse you to no end, especially when combined with many other network admin buzzwords, such as "integration" and "encoded". Combining these words enables activation of my relational database of "phrases useful when trying to confuse people". when speaking down from so high a level, this means that i can eliminate many people from trying to even read this post. when combined with the right tone, this can eliminate up to 2/3 of usable, knowledgable computer users from making any sort of comment on my network knowledge, never mind the actual size of said knowledge. this is where the complexity of my post design itself comes into play. although i don't have enough backbone to talk like a normal person for fear of being exposed as the weak rhetorical mind that i am, my peers and clients cannot understand enough of what i say to challenge me. in order to effectively speak to me, they must either speak in tongues or in pseudo-techno-speak, while theorizing that they are functional human beings, much like i do. since my clients do not know the difference between a "bit" and "big" bandwidth saver, my ability to prattle on about cache engines and standards is more than enough to set their heads spinning...anyway, i believe i have belittled everyone here enough...there are many skills needed to be a good network admin...these are some of the key skills (try and find them!)...hopefully, one day, you too can post condescending crap to the uf message board. i hope this clears up any confusion mr. ballmore has generated with his post. incidentally, steve-o, what is it about you that makes you so self-righteous? in every post i've ever seen from you, you are talking down to someone, be it about veggie-ism, network admin-ing, or any previous post by you.
