Freedom of speech laws? by Ryn 2001-02-09 21:32:02

Please tell us exactly what law you are referring to, to include the exact wording and the source. I know of no **international laws** against moderating what information YOU post on SOMEONE ELSE'S website. Even if your country has some special freedom of speech law that tries to govern the internet, this is an international forum, and from what I understand, this website is not in the same country that you live in, and is not subject to laws placed by your country. For example, your freedom of speech rallying cry is illegal in China, so shall we send the Chinese government after you? No. Because you are not held to Chinese laws, only the laws for the country you live in. And we are not held to the laws for your country either. Hey, if you want freedom of speech pal, go ahead and put your non-funny jokes on your own personal website, instead of cluttering up someone else's. This is not your website, and this website does not even have to have a forum, and it is here for our entertainment. Please don't abuse the priviledge under your own personal vendetta.
