I worked at this softwarec house on and off, and they taught my COBOL. Sometimes I still see PERFORM THRUs driftfast in my worst nightmares. Worse still, The University of Hertfordshire (where I'm at) use FORTRAN on their Maths course so my poor girlfriend had to learn it. Me and my fellow techie mates (and an engineer) laughed about that for days PAnts
