Um.. this is NOT any kind of Democracy here. They do NOT have to give you any rights if they choose not to. It is THERE site, THEY have control of it. If they decide something doesn't belong on THEIR site, they have every right in the world to moderate, or remove it. Having read the moderated out stuff.. I really don't see any reason for them having to explain themselves. It was pointless and didn't even belong there. 90% of the posts here are about 100 miles off target from what they should be, it makes reading the posts un-enjoyable most times because there is so much spam now. >>"Moderation based on personal opinion is an illigal activity and is contrary with the law for freedom of speech" If this was a governmental website.. you may be correct. But they do NOT have to follow any laws reguarding free speech. Ok, I am wandering off here a little, and I have three plants I need to log into and fix now .. So in wrap up.. Get A Life people. This is only a discussion board for a comic.. Discusss, whine, bitch, run to mommy and cry on her shoulder amungst yourselves. If lucky, I may have an old, dirty tissue for you to dry your eyes. deejee wrote: >Thanx, Cow! That's what I am trying to tell those single minded people here... >. >What about our votes? Aren't they worth anything? Is the Moderator a God over here, who decides what we can read, and what we shouldn't read? >. >GR/EE/tZ >. >"Moderation based on personal opinion is an illigal activity and is contrary with the law for freedom of speech" >. >Anonymous Cow wrote: >>What I don't understand is why were both copies of the joke moderated down, when the moderator and the joke teller both admit that the joke had nothing offensive in it. If the joke was just duplicated, why not delete the second copy, but leave the first so that the rest of the community can read it? As it is, one person has made it his responsibility to censor what we read, and not give us the right to decide for ourselves. And that is far beyond the bounds of any moderator for an open discussion board such as this. Perhaps the moderation policies should come into question.
