What REALLY concerns me about this guy is not that he's a PC type of person, but that he was SHOCKED to find an AK-47 in a Japanese game for kids. Culture shock time : in Japan, toy guns are marketed quite widely and well, models / replicas are easily and fairly freely availible to anyone (except airsoft, that tends to have age restrictions for safety reasons), and it is not uncommon at all to find guns and other weapons in children's games in Japan. I know this from both first-hand gaming experience and from my own hobby of collecting model / replica guns, including airsoft (which I also use in sport). I advise he take off his rose-tint glasses and take a quick look at reality here. Or not. His eyes might bleed to see that he may actually be wrong - for some reason, that seems to be very common in PC types. :)
