The movie wasn't supposed to be an action-adventure. It was a suspense thriller which broke away from the woman/stalker and cop/serial killer genres. The movie relied on persoal struggle to further the plot, rather than macabre and gory scenes designed to get a knee-jerk reaction from the audience. throughout the movie I was left wondering if he really had superhuman powers. I loved when Bruce Willis went into the subway and looked into everyone's souls to see the crimes that they have commited. I thought that it was an interesting and powerful look into society.
