That way, it's easy to know when the world (or United States) will be destroyed by some alien superweapon. >You forgot to include the movie reference (ID4)   Actually, that sort of thing appears in so many movies, it wasn't necessary to mention any specific one.   Let's see, what else?   - has an unbreakable encryption scheme that shows an annoying message and/or animation to taunt your enemies with when they try to break it (Jurassic Park), but the password to open it must be a common word that you can guess just by knowing a little about the person who owns the file (Wargames, Real Genius, and a dozen others, and for that matter all too often in RL). The encryption system must be based on a small hardware device that can be connected to any computer in the world just by hooking on the side (Sneakers).   - Continued use must cause the users intelligence to drop considerably, so that even the simplest SE ploys will allow an attacker physical access and the root password (same as above). Even if the attacker is of different species, disguised only by hiding in a stolen fighter craft... (ID4).   - can access and move money to and from any bank account in the world with a few keystrokes (more movies than I can count).   - must be Be able to automatically route communications through a series of randomly selected satellites and land-lines, and detect when a given line has been traced and made insecure (Sneakers).   - must have a demon-dialer that somehow doesn't raise an anomalous usage flag at the phone company (Wargames - I mean, really now, it isn't hard for them to recognize that kind of thing. Draper got busted for that the very first time he used one, and that was in 1978!)
