Welcome, Steelsky. Mud Duck was not referring to putting this new plot all into today's strip. Mud Duck wanted to know why Illiad always drops a storyline that has been continuing nicely for a period of several days.   We have no problem waiting to see it unfold over a week or two. We only hate it when the story is dropped unexpectedly. Imagine if you were watching Star Wars, and Vader said, "Luke, there's something I have to tell you." Scene cuts back to Ewoks roasting marshmallows. Yes. What if you never got to hear him say he was Luke's father? And no one else ever mentioned it? The next time you see them they are in two different quadrants with no explanation for how they resolved their last meeting. That's what Illiad repeatedly is doing to us.   Do you think it's the electroshock therapy? He gets a treatment every five days or so, and the previous storyline is fried?   Steelsky wrote: >...the fast the your typical cartoon only has 3 >panels, there is a limit to how much you can fit in >there. >Besides, would you come back tomorrow if the plot was >all revealed everyday?
