- Database Operations always cause computers to beep around like a game boy - High security mainframes are either available via modem/web-interface with one single password check (especially US Government machines) or they are in an shock-sensitive-laser-secured-temperature-observed room behind several retina-scanner-fingerprint-voice-recognizing air-locks (like in "Mission: Impossible", "Charlie's Angels" or "Eraser" - btw, how do I get my railgun to firing at 10 shots per second ;-))) - normal workstations have either 20-coloumn text-based interfaces or 3d-true-color-realtime-video desktops - computers use either 12gig 3,5" floppy disks or some strange never-seen-before magneto-optical media
