| Learn the following:
- the space key has to be abolished because it's never used;
- for some tasks, a reduced 1/5 natural size version of the keyboard can be used (the operator guy in Matrix uses only the starting left part of the keyboard immediately below QWERTY);
- no matter how far in the future you are, the display graphics won't ever advance more than EGA, and even those will be rare since most people will use CGA;
- text interface will be the best choice for everything, including file management, but you won't ever see a directory listing in the terminal prompt;
- file managers like Midnight/Norton Commander won't be invented in the next few centuries;
- desktops will always have CRT displays;
- if it ever appears, the GUI will be full-3D, but mesh-only - no textures or skins or lighting;
- giant super-hypercomputer mainframes will be slow like your old 486 to search a few hundred MBs of data... |
