I ever had was a two-day gig doing inventory in a pipe valve factory. Climb up these racks, wipe 12 months worth of grime & dust off of various fittings, scribble the number on a piece of paper, then climb down. Since the place was down near the river, the first day I found a place by the dock & had lunch there. The next day it was raining, so I ate in the lunchroom. Where one of the regular employees talked in cliched detail about his visit to a topless bar the night before. Temp work widens one's horizons in interesting ways. Geoff
