Question of the day by kickstart2000-12-17 00:27:59
Working for Next by HellaHulla 2000-12-17 15:32:16
6 hour shift, 1 15 minute tea break, a hooter at the start of the shift, start of break, end of break, end of shift. No transport even though most of the staff lived more than 3 bus routes away and no chance to drink or sit down while you were working. It was agency work, I was with 400 agency staff members, most of them had more teeth than braincells, and most of them didn't have any teeth. The work was crap, typical warehousing, picking, pricing, packing, moving stuff around, lifting, putting down, lifting again, opening boxes checking closing boxes, re-checking when one of my team mates gets it wrong, you know the stuff. I stayed in that job for a week, then I just walked out, pah, never again. Eric
