| Multi-platinum rapper Marshall Mathers (also known as "Slim Shady" and "Eminem"), was found dead in a car accident around 2:30AM EST, on his way to a late-night party.
Paramedics believe that Mr. Mathers had taken alcohol or drugs prior to his car accident, which may have caused the accident that killed the artist on impact. Witnesses say they saw his Saturn coupe rental car swerve out of the way to avoid a slow moving vehicle, then lost control and crashed into a grove of trees.
The car was crumpled by the impact, making extraction of Mathers' body very difficult. He was declared dead on the scene by paramedics who arrived a short time later.
