| Three turrets mounting three 16" cannons each, two Phalanx anti-missile systems (fore and aft) added circa 1990, 10 dual 50 cal anti-aircraft guns along both port and starboard, a helipad added during the Vietnam War where turret four had been originally, a Tomhawk cruise missile launcher added in the mid-1980s where turret five had been, and a plaque commemorating the Japanese surrender at the end of WWII.

(No, I don't know if that's really right or not. Even if it is close, the battleship is now a Naval museum and the weapons have all been sealed, anyway.) |
