I personally think you're pushing it to catagorize "pissy" as swearing. In Scotland to be pissed means that you're drunk and in the US (and I suspect Canada) if you're pissed, you're angry. Considering what happened to poor old Matt yesterday, I'd be pissed, too, if I were he. Pissy is simply a manufactured adverbal variant. Since it doesn't refer in any way to anything sexual or fall into the category of a curse, I find the moniker "swearing" more than a bit strong. |
